There is a report out today about the high-tech glue made by Neanderthals to
glue their stone tools to sticks. It seems that in addition to tents, the 7
note diatonic musical scale, the exploitation of coal resources,
Neanderthals were also the inventors of chemistry! Chris STringer, a
prominent advocate of the replacement of Neanderthals by modern humans is
reported to have said that this "adds to the argument that Neanderthals were
not instantaneously killed off by supposedly superior Cro-Magnons--early
    modern humans."
