    In the same way it always does. Any given historical event, whether in the history of creation in general or humans in particular, represents a single possibility out of myriad theoretically possible events. Not that this would rule out His using the means of direct selection of possibilities to overcome them, but that God, being omnipotent, is not troubled by transastronomical improbabilities.
