It is not "the scientific method" which leads to these results but that method
combined with the assumption that only repeatedly observable phenomena need be
considered. & even with those limitations, a narrowly scientific approach is capable
of understanding the physical World, though it cannot explain why there is a world.
Johnson is not simply arguing that there's more to life than evolutionary biology, but
that evolutionary biology - i.e., the results of studying living things scientifically -
is wrong.
