I just read Paul Arveson's cogent comment, and got to thinking of another
way to mathematicaly describe nature, ie: fractal dimension. I think it
would be safe to say that there isn't much of creation that isn't either
amorphous like gasses or liquids, crystalline like diamond, or fractal like
ferns and your circulatory/nervous/and pulmonary systems, for starters.
I wish I was a mathematician and could appreciate more fully the subtleties
of fractals, but I have read enough to feel pretty convinced that fractal
dimension counts very highly in God's design scheme. If anyone is
interested, I can supply many titles of books that explore these things far
more articulately than I.
