Hi Paul,

Under most circumstances I would agree with you. This time I don't.
Reason? There are lots of threads on every list I don't find particularly
relevant or interesting. I simply skip them or delete them. Secondly, if
the ASA is to have any influence in turning the YECs then we must
occasionally discuss YEC ideas. And Steve Austins floating mat idea is one
of the very influential YEC ideas.

However, I have told Bill before that this discussion is probably better
suited to the evolution reflector but he keeps posting here. Bill, can you
try to remember that the evolution reflector might be a better place for
coal discussions? As for my part in this, I am a hopeless debate addict. :-)
