Why is this? I was not aware that "design" and biological evolution
were necessarily mutually exclusive. While theistic evolution
may be distinct from ID (more often used to describe "Interventionist
Development" than "intelligent design", a mechanistically unspecific
concept), I think that's a separate matter.
