I don't pretend to have any relevant information on these stories, Glenn.
You know that - I've said it before.

As I wrote, PJ may be properly chastized for using a silly example. No
more.
Lots of evolutionary scenarios are silly. So are a lot of physics
theories!

Whather PJ deliberately used a silly example or not, and he may well have
done so, IMHO, the thrust of his argument is obvious and a reasonable
one.
