I sincerely hope that the commentaries on how to interpret Gen 1-11, and
12-50 as history by Paul Seely (Aug. 13) and George Murphy (Aug. 14) become
the standard reference in future discussions on how to interpret the book of
Genesis. I am not a biblical scholar, but what these two have written makes
good sense to me. I hope it does to others, too.
