What are some good critiques and defenses of ID, especially:

the similarities and differences between ID and creationism,
arguments (pro and con) for the possibility of a "design" theory
(not just saying "it isn't science", but tackling the tough issue
such as critiques of CURRENT science (by ID) and appeals to "new
posibilities with improved FUTURE science" (by opponents of ID)
and so on.

plus specific books:
Mere Creation (1998, IV Press, ed William Dembski),
The Design Inference (1998, Cambridge U Press, William Dembski)
Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge... (1996, Mike Behe)
PJ's books (D on Trial, Reason in the Balance, Defeating D by...)

the most immediately useful (for me, and maybe others) would be:
high-quality threads (well written, with content) in ASA-list archives
web-pages or web-sites
