A belief which still continues in modified form. E.g., Rush Limbaugh's
statement (in _The Way Things Ought to Be_) that he doesn't worry about destruction of
the environment because he believes in creation - i.e., that God will maintain the
status quo. It's a comforting, self-serving, & entirely unbiblical, idea.
