It is quite obvious that Casti and Ruhla disagree on this. It is probably
more semantics than anything else. Call Ruhla's view "science1" and
Casti's view "science2."

If you consider only "science1," then neither evolution nor meteorology
seems to qualify as science. Which does not seem to be a useful thing to
do. They still exist and have to be called SOMETHING.
