I can't figure out if this is a serious remark or not. I assume not.
The ID movement is NOT a bunch of crackpots but a group of perfectly sane
scientists and philosophers (including Al Plantinga) who are raising some
terrible interesting questions. The NTSE conference in Austin in February
1997 revealed many of these to the community (I think the NTSE web site
is still active and the papers available there).
The ID concept may, or may not, be proven out in the years to come. But
why call for its demise by fiat?
