Two biology positions at Messiah College

Biology: Messiah College invites applications for two tenure-track
assistant professor positions in the Natural Sciences Department available
August, 1999; a Molecular Biologist and a Vertebrate Biologist. For the
Molecular Biologist position, we are seeking applicants qualified to teach
an advanced undergraduate lecture/lab course in Molecular Biology. Other
teaching esponsibilities may include Developmental Biology, Microbiology,
General Biology, and other courses appropriate to the applicant's specialty.
For the Vertebrate Biologist position, the department seeks applicants
qualified to teach lecture/lab courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology,
Human Biology, Comparative Anatomy, and other courses appropriate to the
candidate's specialty. Candidates for both positions should enjoy teaching
a wide range of undergraduate major and non-major biology courses and
science-related General Education courses. Ph.D. in biological sciences and
a strong commitment to Christian faith are required. Successful candidates
will be expected to mentor students in research projects appropriate for a
