If you took away one of the major limb bones from any jawed
vertebrate, it would be severely impaired, yet the fossil record shows a
progression of limb development. Closer to the molecular level, many
organelles are vital to the function of a eukaryotic cell, but bacteria get
along just fine without them. A gradual addition of organelles, followed
by loss of the now redundant abilities to do without them, would produce
the observed complex interdependence.
Disproving the possibility of "natural" evolution would require a
demonstration that intermediate stages are impossible. It's equally
impossible to disprove any intervention.
