To George & David - ID, what does it mean?

Well, I had prepared a good reply to George M. and David C. and my
computer crashed - sorry.

Briefly,

George, in a recent special issue of CELL the flagellum was
categorized as, among the molecular machines, the one that most
resembles a machine designed by humans. Behe saw design, other see
the same. An explanation for the design exists (i.e., an electric
motor), what does not exist is an explanation for the "construction"
of this molecular motor. So I think that your analogy to math may
need some revision.

David, I understand your points against the IDers (gaps and all). I
still think you are exaggerating but I may be wrong since I've never
belonged to the American Gap-culture. As I have been discussing with
Dr. Van Till, I keep my eyes wide open and continuously question my
presuppositions/assumptions, and I do see the "crafty hand" of God in
nature, no matter how the designs were constructed.

I'm afraid this is all for today.

Thanks

Ed,
