In my opinion, this type of exaggeration is all too common among young-earth
creationists who also usually happen to be evangelical Christians. As an
evangelical Christian, and someone trying to get a Ph.D. after my name by
legitimate methods (i.e. years of graduate school and dissertation writing) I
find these exaggerations (and, in some cases that have been documented, outright
fabrication of credentials) troublesome.

Christians should obviously not do things which give them the appearance of
being dishonest. Just my 0.02 cents.
