Hi Art,

While I see a tiny bit of humor in all this, Art makes a serious point.
The (genuine) problems posed by YECs in the church might be far less
serious than the problems posed by the secular culture in which the
American church is presently immersed. Perhaps we should seek to preserve
the YECs within the church -- with their genuinely high resistivity to
Post-Christian philosophy. What do you think, Glenn?

Going to hell is far worse than subscribing to a demonstrably flawed
science.

Okay, some of this is tongue in cheek. YECs do drive thoughtful potential
Christians away from the church. But so do many other things, not the
least of which is the spirit of the present age -- within which our
children are growing up. I personally find this a greater threat to my
three children (all of whom rightly believe in an old Earth).

Thanks, Art, for your comment.
