I'm the opposite -- moderately liberal theologically. But I gain my
position (PC vs TE) not from scripture -- but from what I "know" of the
physical world.

That seems to be a problem on many sides! < G >

Same reason my once-nice 1994 Ford Bronco doesn't look or run so well
anymore! Wear & tear.

The problem with "clever design" is that it implies the designer is no
further advanced (in either intelligence or technology) than we are.
