Hi Joel,

What about:

"On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne
and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted, "This is the
voice of a god, not of a man." Immediately, because Herod did not give
praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by
worms and died. Acts 12:21-23

* * *

Micaiah declared, "If you ever return safely, the Lord has not spoken
through me." Then he added, "Mark my words, all you people!"

But someone drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel between
the sections of his armor.

So the king died and was brought to Samaria, and they buried him there.
I Kings 22:28, 34, 37

It seems that God "makes every lick count."
