"The heavens are telling of the glory of God" (Ps. 19:1a) and
similar passages suggest that the physical world retains accuracy rather
than being thoroughly misleading.
In C. S. Lewis's Perelandra, the unfallen individual is warned by
God against trying something that might cause physical harm, as one
possibility for safety in the face of physical laws.
