Forgive the general email to you all

This is to let you know that I have accepted the offer of a new job in
Norwich. It'll be working for the Stationery Office (HMSO as was) as their
Science Commissioning Editor, starting asap.

It was a big decision as it will mean a move to Norwich in the summer. I'll
probably be starting in December so I'll be going up to Norfolk for a few
days per week, at least initially (and working at home), with the idea that
we would move up there in the summer, in time for the autumn intake in the
schools there.

It'll be a heart-breaking wrench to leave Southampton after so long, and
with such deep roots here. But it's an exciting opportunity! And a nice
place to live.

I will of course continue with the development with the CIS and SCB web
sites, in association with Justin Marston, and look forward to the outcome
of the upcoming CIS committee meeting.

Best wishes.

Bob
