Yes, this can be seen as a "victory" if it leads to a more favorable
(or less unfavorable) treatment of science *by teachers*, even if I (or we)
remain suspicious (but I could be wrong, and hope so) about a true
change-of-heart by the leaders of NABT. I think it is at the level of
*individuals* -- not organizations -- where there is the most hope for
positive change; and certainly, at the level of individuals, we should show
a gentle, thoughtful attitude. {and maybe for organizations, too}
