George Murphy pointed out that there are theological objections. It should
also be noted that some examples of purported design are explicable within
a naturalistic framework, so that there are objections to these particular
claims; too many of these, and ID as a whole tends to become suspect. Such
examples do not have direct bearing on whether ID is possible, but do lower
its credibility.
