Well, we do have to be careful about words. I take immanence to be in the
sense of Col 1:17. It seems to me that the scriptures are trying to convey
the idea that God (Jesus) is in charge of the world both physically and
spiritually. But like the scriptures I would be vague about precisely how
that is carried out. How is God's immanence related to the Heisenberg
uncertainty principle?

I take "special intervention" to be raising Lazurus from the dead, but most
of God's answers to prayer accomplished by the agency of His immanence.
