Lazarus and the origen of life:

I have been giving some thought to the question:

Can God bring dead (lifeless) matter back into life (the resurrection of
Lazarus) and not be able to jump-start living organisms, or for that
matter fully developed and functioning species?

Why bother with a stillborn ape (I'm referring to Morton's male ape
born dead because of cromosome folding
(http://www.isource.net/~grmorton/dmd.htm) when He can mold any lump of
dust into a human being?

Lazarus body was dead and decaying, and then a Jesus command it was
alive and well. If we believe that Christ Jesus could do that, Can we
not also believe that the origen of life escapes a purely naturalistic
explanation?
