George, I just ran across an excellent book hot off the press by Leonard
Brand. The title is Faith, Reason, and Earth History, subtitled A Paradigm
of Earth and Biological Origins by Intelligent Design. The book is
published by Andrews University Press, Berrien Springs Michigan, ISBN
1-883925-15-0. Leonard is an active publishing scientist and does a
credible job of evaluating the issues of origins from the perspective of a
Christian scientist. I think you will be impressed with the fairness of his
treatment of all the issues involved.
