Greetings to All

The following was sent a while back when all of you were on vacation. The
result was that I received only one response. Please help us to make our
journal a bit more attractive and useful to our diverse audience.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

In an effort to make PSCF more interesting to our diverse readership we are
(starting with Dec97) adding a new section which will offer comments on
recent scientific discoveries, etc. which relate to ASA interests. We would
like a two or three paragraph statement on the topic (with references to
the source) plus an assessment of how it relates to our concerns. The
writing should be popular yet informed. I am looking for your suggestions
for possible topics (reported after May 1, 1997) and offers to write.

I am throwing the challenge to this list because of your articulate discussion
of so many topics. Make my day! I need good material within a few weeks.
This is an experiment worth trying. Do everything via email.
Send comments and materials to me at this address or asa@newl.com.
