My guess is that if sapiens women were incorporated into Neanderthal culture
their offspring remained with Neanderthals until they eventually were
eradicated. I'm thinking of adversarial cultures with women taken as
spoils of war similar to what happened in the old West between white
settlers and folks we used to call "indians." Still, different scenarios
would yield different results.
