A lot of folks seem to "care" on this basis, which is, of course, a good
one. But "a lot" is still probably a small number in absolute terms.

I care because I always saw it as "the great mystery" and chose to pursue
study about origins on that basis alone. Until e-mail, Compuserve forums,
and origins - oriented LISTSERVs came along, I don't know that I EVER
encountered anyone else with more than casual interest, either in or out of
Christian churches.
