science and religion

interesting article by Stephen Jay Gould entitled "Nonoverlapping
Magisteria" about the popes comments on evolution. Mr. Gould says that
there is no conflict between science and relgion because they are
talking about different things. He does say that at the places where
they touch there can be difficulty. I was wondering if anyone on this
list has seen the article and your comments on it. I have been reading
the comments on evolution in the posts. I am a chemist (retired) and so
not as knowledgable in that area as the biologists.
