I'm new to this list [actually I'm just back from a long absence], and
am a post-doc in physics, working on condensed matter theory. Greetings

I was wondering if any fellow ASA'ers will be among the approximately
4500 physicists attending the annual March Meeting of the American
Physical Society in Kansas City, MO, from 17 to 21 March. If so, it
might be a good idea to get together there. Please contact me if you're
