Humphrey sounds like those who insisted that the only
"truth" was empirically verifiable. Unfortunately, for
them, there was no empirically verifiable basis for their
belief. Similarly with Humphrey. What basis does he have
for insisting that science is the only and final arbiter in
what should be taught? He has none.
