Sadly you speak the truth. My attempts to get published were also
thwarted by "Christian" book publishers far more eager to perpetuate
the status quo than to face up to fact that they were part of the
reason the truth sometimes can't make it into the marketplace of
ideas. Reminds me of the bumper sticker, "God save me from your
followers."

I finally was successful in finding a small Christian publisher, Fairway
Press, that was willing to gamble - a little. (I paid for half the cost
of publishing.) However, Spring Arbor, the prime distributor of Christian
books, did pick it up, and now Ingram, the largest distributor of trade
books, has come on board. There's a long way to go to catch Darwin's
Black Box, and Darwin On Trial (darlings of the Christian press), but you
can now get The Origins solution in some Borders and Books-A-Million -
stores more interested in what you've got to say and does it make sense,
rather than does it dance to an outdated Christian tune. So, who knows,
this book may do a Cinderella and outflank the ugly stepsisters yet.
Hopefully, yours can do the same.
