This month's "Scientific American" has also gone Christian-bashing,
calling the creation/evolution debate an anti-science/science debate.
(Jan. 1997, p96).

I have a problem with that. Neither position is truely "Scientific."
Evolution and Creationism _both_ deal with the question of "what
happened way back when..." which falls more into history and philosophy
than science, since we can neither test nor observe what went on when
whatever happened, happened.

The article in Scientific American also makes a mockery of ICR and its
President. It's a shame that the most nationally known Christian
Scientific body is so narrow-minded and dogmatic. Is there a _good_
Christian Scientific Research Institution out there, or are we all
doomed to live in ICR's shaddow?
