It's been quiet on the Martian life front recently. I just noted a
brief piece in today's Akron Beacon Journal that 2 Ohio State geologists
(unnamed) have a paper to appear in _Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta_
the week of 29 Dec to the effect that the formations claimed to be
evidence for Martian life by the NASA people were actually formed by
geologic [areologic?] processes at temperatures ~ 900 C. I'm sure
there'll be more.
