general & special laws

I still get the newsletter from the church I was a member of when I lived
in Southern California. I see that in their Wednesday night program they
recently showed a film called "The Evolution Conspiracy". Just from the
blurb, it sounds like typical ICR fare ("... Evolution beliefs are
contrasted with the scientific evidence that supports Creation.") But
before I contact people back there to attempt some damage control, I want
to be sure the film is what I think it is.

Is anybody out there familiar with this film? Are my fears justified?
E-mail replies would probably be most appropriate for this inquiry.

Thanks in advance,
Allan

I am not familiar with this particular film, but I can posit a law
about such films that goes as follows:

All videos and films about evolution that are produced for churches
in the US are of the young-earth creationist type.

I know of no exceptions to this law. If anyone does, please
let me know.

In fact, I can posit an even more general law:

All videos and films about any subject in science that are produced
for church audiences in the US are of the young-earth creationist type.

There may be exceptions to this general law. If there are any, I
would like to know.
