wind

No matter how devout a Christian a scientist may
be, he or she will not be content to let some scientific problem rest
with the explanation that "God did it." Of course God did it - as God
is involved in all things! But how do we describe it in terms of
natural processes?

"...and the Spirit (or wind) of God was moving over the face of the waters."

"The wind blows where it wills, and your hear the sound of it, but you do not
know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of
the Spirit."

We accept this mystery of the relationship of God to us in the case of our
spiritual rebirth, but why not in the relationship of God to nature generally?
