People who are interested in the philosophy of science, the connection
between quantum physics and metaphysics, and/or arguments for a theistic
worldview may want to read dual book reviews that are almost hidden in
the latest *Scientific American* (Nov. 1996, pp. 121-123). There
physicist John Polkinghorne reviews and contrasts "From Physics to
Metaphysics" by Michael Redhead, and "Is There a God?" by Richard Swinburne.
