That was my impression on reading it. If he had limited himself to saying,
"If you assume a bounded universe instead of an unbounded one, you get
these results," instead of working out his incredibly implausible
concordism, it would have worked better for me. Being a condensed matter
guy, I don't have the GR chops to debate the merits of his arguments.
Another thing that put me off is his (like most other YECs) habit of pretty
much assigning everyone that disagrees with him to some worldwide
conspiracy.
