Maybe I'm missing something. I thought that whatever date was assigned
to "Eve" using mitochondrial data would merely indicate that humankind
is *at least* that old. This "Eve" could have lived any length of time
after the beginning of our race. No?
Of course, I *do* get a bit of indigestion when I think of Glenn's
5.5-mya Noah. But that is another matter.
