Junior High Resources

This question is a natural extension of the recent discussion of whether
there are any science materials for young children (books on dinosaurs, for
example) that have a viewpoint a Christian could endorse without getting
into ICR-style nonsense. Now, I want to advance the age on that question by
a few years.

Somebody I know from another mailing list is doing some programs for Junior
High students at his church. He wants to talk about creation at some point,
and asked my opinions on possible resources. Apparently the ICR and Ken Ham
both have some material directed at this age group. Can anybody out there
recommend anything for 12-14 year-olds that would have a more healthy
perspective (my definition of "healthy" being one emphasizing God as the
creator and that is scientifically honest and reasonable to whatever extent
it talks about the secondary issues of the time scale and mechanism by which
God did the creating)? I can't see Junior Highers reading Howard van Till
or even Hugh Ross, but if there is a vacuum of reasonable materials for that
age group we should not be surprised when unreasonable stuff rushes in to
fill it.
