Scopes Trial Redux?

stories, editorials, and letters in paper about the bill proposed in
Tennessee State Legislature "to make the teaching of evolution as anything
more than scientific theory a violation of the law with the teacher so
charged being subject to charges of insubordination."
Is anyone with ASA involved with this? The Christian Coalition is mentioned
the article I read today. Wasn't there an article in the newsletter a short
time ago about ASA assisting a school district in California in dealing with
this controversial matter with some degree of effectiveness?
The Knoxville News-Sentinel has been very negative to this proposed law,
comparing it to the Scopes Trial at every turn.
