The 2009 Annual Meeting of ASA:
Housing Information
is in this page,
and a Travel-Page has information about getting to the conference by FLYING or DRIVING.

To help you find a roommate for a bedroom or apartment, if you want to split the cost of a room, our Travel-and-Housing Board has "sharing a room" pages for Men, Women, and Couples;  it doesn't require "logging on" so it's fast and easy to READ and WRITE comments.
Originally the following comment was part of my "roommate request" on the board, but the basic idea seems relevant for everyone so here it is:  "To avoid waking you at night or in the morning, I'll minimize noise by closing doors (and drawers) quietly, etc, and won't turn on lights (I use an LED mini-flashlight), and I hope you will be similarly thoughtful."

Basic housing information from ASA was [in 2009 while it was up-to-date] in the Online Registration (or a Registration Form to print & mail) and a Registration Brochure provides additional details about rooms off-campus and on-campus:

Lodging at Area Motels/Hotels:  A block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Old Main Lodge, Interstate 35 at 4th, Waco, TX (map) (across the street from Baylor University, George W. Truett Theological Seminary).  If you make your reservation by June 10, and mention you are with the ASA meeting which will be held at Baylor University, you will receive a discounted rate.
